Phoenix Design Aid had the pleasure of working together with the UNDP Green Commodities Programme on the launch of their Guide to Effective Collaborative Action (English and Spanish versions) which they have been working on during 2021.
Phoenix Design Aid first started working on the creative concept with guidelines. The client wanted something fresh and new which gave Phoenix Design Aid lots of freedom to work and propose elements like colors, arrows and lines. Existing illustrations were integrated with the design and concept. While colors did not have to match exactly, it was important to develop something that could co-exist in harmony while also looking beautiful and being functional for the content of the guide.
Once the creative concept was approved, Phoenix Design Aid started to work on the layout of the full guide. The photographs in the guide were intervened with the “brushstrokes” that are part of the creative concept.
Phoenix Design Aid also developed a 4-minute whiteboard animation video that explains the guide and its components in a more simple and dynamic way.
