Annual report.
Creative concept development, graphic design and layout as well as photo selection.
Columbia University selected Phoenix Design Aid to design their first ever annual report of the Columbia Global initiative which was inaugurated in 2023.
This design had to portray the innovative and modern approach the initiative aims to, while also reflect the importance of the throughout the publication – for example, by placing emphasis on photos that illustrate the diversity of the students. To achieve this, Phoenix Design Aid worked on a creative concept considering all the aspects and carefully curated the conceptual photos to accompany the design. The selection of photos was made in close collaboration with Columbia University.
In addition to the photos, the graphics included in the report also played an important role in explaining the fundamentals that compose the initiative, its global presence and activities as well as the mission and vision of the university, all put together in a visually appealing and functional design.
