The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) is the world’s largest and most diverse environmental network, bringing together governments, civil society organizations and thousands of experts to advance nature conservation and sustainable development worldwide.
Building on a long-standing collaboration, IUCN once again partnered with Phoenix Design Aid to develop its Annual Report, presenting the Union’s achievements, priorities and global impact throughout 2025. The report serves as a key accountability and communication tool, providing Members, donors, partners and stakeholders with a transparent overview of IUCN’s work and results across regions and thematic areas.
For this edition, Phoenix Design Aid managed the full production process, including editorial coordination, content structuring, graphic design, layout, translations and final publication. Particular attention was given to transforming complex institutional and technical information into an accessible, engaging and visually coherent publication aligned with IUCN’s brand guidelines and communication standards.
The report combines concise narrative content, strong visual storytelling and custom-designed infographics to highlight key achievements, strategic partnerships and conservation outcomes. Through a carefully structured layout and enhanced visual hierarchy, readers are guided through the breadth of IUCN’s work while maintaining clarity and readability across a substantial volume of content.
As with previous editions, the publication was produced in English, French and Spanish, ensuring accessibility for IUCN’s global membership and stakeholder community.
The 2025 Annual Report reflects IUCN’s continued leadership in advancing science-based conservation, strengthening partnerships and supporting action for nature worldwide. Through clear reporting and high-quality design, the publication reinforces transparency, credibility and engagement while demonstrating the value and impact of the Union’s work to current and future partners.
