UNDP CRU needed a report to present their findings based on the evaluation of the effectiveness of Global Cluster for Early Recovery (GCER) coordination, as well as to summarise the policies and tools UNDP would need to support Early Recovery (ER) in the humanitarian system. Therefore, we were tasked with developing a design that was inviting to the eye, incorporating the UNDP identity, while bringing in both a graphic and human element. The visual strength of the report lies in the clarity of information as represented by graphics and in the cover design with its modern abstract representation of the ‘cluster’ concept. An elegant color palette travels fluidly throughout the report, while the overall design gives enough space to allow humanitarian-leaning imagery to establish its own presence.
