The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Life and Peace Institute have undertaken a study on climate security adaptions on a community level in the horn of Africa. The study focuses on Kenya, Uganda and Ethiopia. The results of the study are gathered into a report that Phoenix Design Aid had the great pleasure of designing.The report is called Mapping of Climate Security Adaptations at Community Level in the Horn of Africa and it explores climate-related security risks and solutions. The focus of the design was to keep the design simple and informative. Customized line illustrations were made for the cover and were also used throughout the report to creatively underline the themes of the report.
In addition, Phoenix Design Aid designed a variety of campaign assets that were used prior to and during the launch of the report to help spread awareness and promote the report. This includes elements such as e-mail invitations, a PowerPoint template, a roll-up, social media cards and a large replica of the report, which were all designed in the same layout as the report.
