The Sustainable Tourism Master plan (STMP) 2024-2034 is jointly developed by the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) and the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) and provides a strategic vision for sustainable tourism across the IGAD member states, aiming to boost the region’s tourism industry and its position on the global stage.
Phoenix Design Aid provided graphic design, translation and editing services for the production of the STMP 2024-2034 report, which was launched at a ceremony in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, by ministers responsible for tourism across the IGAD region.
The report design involved the development of figures to visually support the content. We prioritize this process as it plays a key role in supporting the reader’s understanding of the data and information, ultimately making the report more engaging.
Alongside the master plan, we also designed a policy brief which summarizes the guiding principles, vision and strategic direction of the STMP.
