In May 2024, Phoenix Design Aid acquired BGRAPHIC, a Danish graphic design agency based in Copenhagen. The acquisition will be a great asset in strengthening the company’s activities and positioning in the Danish market with the combination of solid Danish and international experience and a sustainability focus, all in one agency.

Phoenix Design Aid is an international graphic design and communication agency with activities all over the world. The company’s headquarters is in Randers, and it has subsidiaries in Panama City, Nairobi and Valencia as well as a number of representative offices and customers in over 60 countries. The company is now ready to make further efforts in the Danish market with the acquisition of the graphic design agency BGRAPHIC.

BGRAPHIC undertakes all types of design and communication tasks for all platforms, including the design of logos, visual identities, campaigns, publications, infographics, PowerPoint and Word templates, animations, websites, video and much more. For more than 20 years, BGRAPHIC has worked on projects for large Danish public and private companies. Phoenix Design Aid and BGRAPHIC have worked together for several years, and both companies find it natural to unite their competencies in undertaking new, visionary and innovative projects.

Our ambition is to position ourselves further in the Danish market, and we see BGRAPHIC as the perfect partner for that as we have a large number of service areas in common, just as we will complement each other well with our different skills. Therefore, we are now consolidating our competencies and uniting our extensive international experience with BGRAPHIC’s solid experience in the Danish market. We are convinced that the combination of their and our competencies will be a great asset for all our customers,” said Dennis Lundø Nielsen, CEO of Phoenix Design Aid, adding that no personnel changes are expected for either party.

Phoenix Design Aid employs 34 employees globally, and the company adds seven employees to its staff with the acquisition. BGRAPHIC’s CEO, Birgitte Vestergaard, and its other employees will continue in their current roles.

With the acquisition of BGRAPHIC, Phoenix Design Aid looks forward to continuing to develop its solutions in the fields of design and communication. The market is moving rapidly with new technologies, and AI is a particular specialization that Phoenix Design Aid hopes to be able to help lead on in Denmark.

Rapid change is an ongoing feature of our services areas. We are convinced that our future collaboration can develop our solutions on several levels. We embrace new technologies – for example, via AI and good digital solutions. The creative tasks must – as always – be delivered from the top shelf. We create unique solutions that are adapted to our customers’ special needs. We help optimize the company’s graphic communication and make it easy to communicate quickly and simply. We are at a fantastic starting point and feel incredibly well equipped for the future as we now combine our competencies and work together in the group,” said Birgitte Vestergaard.

Phoenix Design Aid is already established in the Danish market and has worked with Danish governmental institutions and NGOs for many years. The company now feels ready to take a step further and hopes to inspire the market in Denmark with sustainable solutions based on its 30 years of global experience in sustainability.
