Columbia University elected Phoenix Design Aid to design a Photo Book with images of impact and legacy of retiring President Lee C. Bollinger.
The photo book had to show the global initiatives of Columbia World Projects, Columbia Global Centers, the Institute of Ideas and Imagination and the Committee on Global Thought, while bringing together teams of scholars, researchers and practitioners.
Phoenix Design Aid meticulously researched over 1,000 photos from Columbia University’s archives and categorized them by center, location, year and participants, to which Columbia University participated in the final selection.
The most representative photos made were included into the final design which we also printed in hardcover to provide an elegant book that was presented to President Bollinger during the farewell ceremony.
