Population-based HIV Impact Assessment Data Visualization Application.
UI/UX, frontend development, backend development and data visualization.
Phoenix Design Aid has developed a data visualization application for ICAP at Columbia University. The aim was to design and develop an application that displays population-based HIV impact assessment data as part of a PHIA (Population-based HIV Impact Assessment) project.
On the one hand, the application provides data accessibility of HIV data via the data visualization tool connected to Columbia University dataset on HIV Impact Assessment, but, on the other hand, the application provides options for users to request dataset directly for own use and analysis outside the platform.
The application is developed in Laravel (PHP) with a frontend codebase connected to develop datasets from the PHIA data team.
To enhance the admin of the continually data requests, Phoenix Design Aid has equipped the application with Laravel Nova which is a beautifully designed administration panel for Laravel.
The application displays the data in three views – either in a table, chart or map – with the possibility to filter and save queries and export data views directly from the application in a chosen format.
