The Regional HDR for Latin America and the Caribbean 2016 is designed with focus on displaying the recommendations unfolded throughout the material with emphasis on rendering the meaning of big data through illustrations and infographics. In general, the report identifies the main threat to progress in Latin America and the Caribbean to be the relapse of millions of families back into poverty.
The report recommends social protection, care systems, labor skills and closing historic gender, racial and ethnic gaps.
