“The I Speak Out Now” (ISON) is an initiative designed to encourage grant implementers to denounce fraud, abuse and human rights violations in the programs financed by The Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
Phoenix Design Aid was asked to redesign the ISON website, created and designed in 2015. Phoenix Design Aid started the process by conducting technical analysis of the website and Google Analytics and undertook several stakeholder interviews.
The overall aim with the website remains the same: to inform and educate the visitors on fraud risks and awareness. The website must serve as a portal for reporting suspected misconduct and as a learning and resource center with information and educational materials.
The website was then redesigned and developed based on the findings from the analysis and recommendations received. Alongside the initial information, Phoenix Design Aid developed further information on information architecture, user experience (UX), digital design as well as frontend and backend development. Finally, Phoenix Design Aid provided a technical handover to ISON’s IT department, alongside the provision of IT support.
