The UNAIDS report on the global AIDS epidemic provides an annual update on the HIV epidemic and response based on countries’ annual AIDS response progress.
Phoenix Design Aid has designed this year’s report the overall theme “Confronting Inequalities”. The report is a 386 pages document divided in four main sections and a section with regional profiles, including case studies and data presented in various types of figures, tables and infographics to help illustrate the response, progress and development of the countries, regions and the world.
As a prelude to the global report, this year, Phoenix Design Aid also designed a meeting report for the 2021 UN General Assembly High Level Meeting on AIDS with the agenda to set new targets for 2025 to end AIDS by 2030. In this document, which is supported by engaging infographics and visuals, UNAIDS provides the latest funding figures and key data and urges the assembly to seize the moment and commit to taking actions the actions needed to end AIDS by 2030.
Both publications were created during a period of 2 months which demanded a thorough planning of the overall process of the project execution, entailing a high degree of flexibility.
