Phoenix Design Aid has worked on the design and development of materials for a communication campaign entitled “Conecta” for a UNHCR Mexico under the Migrant Protection Protocols (MPP).

The objective of the campaign is to inform potential emigrants about changes in the United States immigration policy and how to access support and assistance. To communicate effectively, a holistic and coordinated strategy has been developed. The strategy was divided into three stages:

  1. Get the attention of the people we are interested in MPPs, including secondary audiences such as organizations, humanitarian workers and others who might replicate the message
  2. Information about the actions that should be taken, including a focus on “Register! Contact us!”
  3. Information about the last and future steps of the programme

Phoenix Design Aid was responsible for the development of an informative webpage (microsite) with three sections, the development of an explanatory 2-minute animation video with locution in two languages, character animation, sound design and subtitling in Spanish and Portuguese and lastly graphic design for a series of social media cards.
