The Africa Adaptation Acceleration Program (AAAP) is a joint initiative of the African Development Bank (AfDB) and the Global Center on Adaptation (GCA), aiming to mobilize 25 billion USD, over five years, to accelerate and scale climate adaptation action across Africa.
Phoenix Design Aid had the pleasure of building a website for the AAAP. The website is built with the aim of showcasing AAAP’s activities, actions and news, while also making key documents accessible to target audiences and the general public as well as promoting the development and adoption of best practices and approaches related to climate adaptation within Africa.
During the production, Phoenix Design Aid delivered information architecture, concept design and UI/UX. The aim was to create a website aimed at promoting the development and adoption of best practices and approaches related to climate adaptation within Africa. The website is built in Drupal CMS (9) and was upgraded to Drupal 10 during April 2024.
One of the key elements on the website is a project tracker which is developed to allow the admins to monitor AAAP’s projects via a Dashboard and allow them to export reports as well as visually explore and monitor data.
Additionally, Phoenix Design Aid provided training and video material for the staff who will be uploading content to the website.
