Graphic design, layout and infographics for the Ethiopian National HDR and related communication products such as PowerPoint presentation, posters, folder, backdrop and roll-ups.
For UNDP Ethiopia, we provided design and layout services for the national Human Development Report (HDR) which is examining the nexus between inclusive industrialization and sustainable human development under the theme “Industrialization with a Human Face”.
Our work included development of a strong visual concept that both conveys the main theme of the report and functions as the framework for visually presenting content and illustrations in a way that reflects both vibes from industrialization and sustainable human development, thus supporting the main argument in the report that to achieve sustainable outcome, the country’s industrialization needs to have human development as its primary end goal and follow an inclusive and green approach that creates decent jobs, ensures gender parity, and protects the environment
The report is divided into five different chapters, all starting with a detailed, yet easily understandable infographic. We have developed these five infographics with the idea that they would function as stand-alone documents to explain the findings in the report.
As a supplement to the report, we delivered design and layout for the Amharic summary of the report. We often work with various language versions and we always ensure that the graphic design presents the content elegantly no matter the language.
In connection with the release of the report, we delivered a media package for the client consisting of PowerPoint presentation, posters, folders, backdrops, roll-ups, etc.
