The Knowledge Project is a joint initiative of UNDP Regional Bureau for Arab States (UNDP RBAS) and the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, dedicated to promoting knowledge societies and policies to achieve sustainable development across the Arab States region and beyond.
For the 2025 edition of the Global Knowledge Index (GKI), Phoenix Design Aid was assigned to produce a report that makes complex data and findings more accessible and visually engaging. The GKI report was produced in both Arabic and English in long and short editions, including country profiles and a variety of data visualizations, infographics, methodology, charts and tables.
In addition to the report, Phoenix Design Aid also produced an animated video that translates key GKI 2025 findings into an engaging visual narrative using data visualization.
