Building on the successful delivery of the Global Programme’s 2022 annual report, Phoenix Design Aid was assigned to design and develop the Global Programme’s annual reportfor 2024, alongside a comprehensive set of digital and print communication assets.
The Global Programme for Strengthening the Rule of Law, Human Rights, Justice and Security for Sustainable Peace and Development supports over 40 countries and territories affected by crisis, conflict and fragility. The 2024 annual report showcases results achieved during the year, highlighting progress across countries and thematic priority areas.
Phoenix Design Aid delivered the overall project concept, designed and developed a dedicated microsite for the 2024 annual report, and structured a large, complex body of content into a clear, accessible and engaging digital experience. The content is presented geographically and thematically, supported by visual elements such as infographics, charts and data visualizations that communicate results, lessons learned and financial information. The microsite was implemented as a static web solution and hosted by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
The visual design was developed in line with UNDP’s corporate design guidelines and adapted to ensure consistency across all outputs and platforms. In parallel with the microsite, Phoenix Design Aid designed a PDF version of the Annual Report, including introductions and forewords, country pages, thematic sections, a detailed results framework and a comprehensive financial summary featuring tables and diagrams.
To support dissemination and outreach, Phoenix Design Aid also designed a highlights brochure with a master version in English and additional language versions. Phoenix Design Aid also produced several social media assets to promote the Annual Report.
