Website and App.
Frontend implementation, Drupal 8 implementation, mobile application development, hosting and server and software support, 24/7 support throughout bi-annual conferences.
For the United Nations Climate Change Secretariat (UNFCCC), we established a new conference website and United Nations Climate Change app for conferences. The website and mobile app are both a continuation and update of the COP23 that we established for UNFCCC in November-December 2017.
The purpose of the site and app is to convey the many activities, the dialogue and debates on climate change before, during and after conferences.
Phoenix Design Aid was responsible for the development and enhancement of the existing app. The United Nations Climate Change App has been developed and is now more interactive with new and advanced features. The overall aim was to make the app more user friendly for conference participants. The app should not only be seen as a tool for information such as checking the agenda, calendar etc., but the app should be more interactive and help bring people together.
Some of the new features include a re-design of the calendar with a user-friendly month and day view, development of an application programming interface (API), which allows easy feeding of data into the API though the Drupal CMS.
This project shows our experience in the field of web-production and web development. The familiarity with mobile applications, responsive design and touch capabilities and deep understanding of the principles of web accessibility and user-centered design/development geared towards storytelling.
