The Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) is a Swiss-based foundation, launched in 2002 under the United Nations, which works to tackle the human suffering caused by malnutrition and aims to deliver nutritious foods to those people most at risk of malnutrition.
GAIN assigned Phoenix Design Aid to design and develop an interactive toolkit for social and behaviour change communication (SBCC) campaigns to improve infant and young child feeding (IYCF) in southern Africa.
The interactive toolkit, “Campaign in a Box,” is a resource portal that aims to help practitioners of the SBCC programme to plan, develop, implement, monitor and evaluate IYCF-focused SBCC campaigns.
During the production, Phoenix Design Aid delivered on information architecture, concept design and UI/UX based on research and investigations. The aim was to create a toolkit to optimize its usability as well as support the learning journey. A user-friendly platform with a simple and clean, yet educative design was developed using Drupal CMS.
The toolkit is developed in four languages – English, German, Italian and Spanish.
Phoenix Design Aid also holds the hosting, server and software maintenance of the website as well as a development support agreement on an ongoing basis.
