Photo book, web portal and social media campaign.
A growing number of United Nations Volunteers and Online Volunteers with disabilities are serving throughout the United Nations system. In this project, the United Nations Volunteers programme (UNV) wanted to celebrate some of these women and men as well as inspire the United Nations System and partners to advance disability inclusion.
The project included communication consultancy, development of a visual concept, research and writing stories of 77 volunteers, photo research and crafting ALT texts, design of a book with photo stories, development of a web portal created in a masonry grid style for ongoing publishing of stories, articles, events and media on the topic. Finally, to support the launch of the project and for ongoing communication, Phoenix Design Aid created a rich package of static and animated visuals and templates for social media campaigning.
