The Spotlight Initiative is United Nation’s initiative to end violence against women and girls (EVAWG). For the fourth consecutive year, Phoenix Design Aid had the pleasure of designing their annual progress report. This issue of the report ends the reporting of the Spotlight Initiative 1.0 funding period and captures the Spotlight Initiative’s cumulative contributions and results across its programme portfolio from 2017 to 2023.
The design build upon the concept developed over the previous years, establishing a look and feel that reinforce the brand promise and featuring human-centered, feminist-style illustrations that convey accurate data and a sense of activism and empowerment. Together the design and layout support the inspiring stories that demonstrate the transformative difference investment in EVAWG has made locally, regionally and globally.
