The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Panama supports several government institutions in the development of their strategies. For this project, UNDP Panama supported PROPANAMA, which is the Export and Investment Promotion Authority of the Government of Panama, in its implementation of public policies related to the attraction of investments and promotion of exports in Panama, acting as a catalyst for sustainable and inclusive development of the country.
Phoenix Design Aid developed a digital marketing campaign for four months that included advertisements on different media platforms to promote Panama, foreign investment opportunities, as well as the Panamanian exportable offer.
The project started with the development of a general digital strategy, considering budgets, audiences and main dissemination channels. On this occasion, strategic channels such as the Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google (Display and YouTube) and LinkedIn platforms were used. The campaign was disseminated in Spanish and English, using each language according to the audiences and countries.
As part of the campaign materials, a total of four 30-second and two 2-minute videos were produced in Spanish and English, with filming throughout Panama (Panama City, Chiriquí and Panamá Oeste).
In addition, advertising was purchased on international media, such as Site Selection Magazine, and television channels such as Discovery Latin America, TNT, Warner Channel, Space, Cinemax, among others. At local level, scheduled advertising services were contracted at the Tocumen International Airport.
